Foreign Tourist Attacked by Jagannath Temple Police at Puri Rath Yatra

On the eve of Lord Jagannath's Rath Yatra 2012 at Puri, a foreign tourist was seriously attacked by the Jagannath Temple Police. It is really a matter of disgrace for the Odia people who just watches the incident without addressing or opposing; acting as a devotee. This is the real fact of Odia devotees those're the exact opposite monkeys of Mahatma Gandhi. To know more about the incident on foreign tourist attacked by Jagannath Temple Police officers, read this article.

Atithi Devo Bhava!
This is what we say while welcoming or greeting our guests at home.

The matter is so disgrace and sorrowful for us and everyone; as when a devotee (Noel Mage Heden) comes from California with his Indian wife Shilpa Das (of Dhenkanal, Odisha) to watch the world famous Rath Yatra at Puri, to be blessed by Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. However, they are been severely attacked and charged by the temple police offices without any reason. However, the reason is very clear to everyone, as they might be Non-Hindus (or foreigners) and went up to the cart boycotting or insubordination. Conversely, Shilpa says she gave Rs. 200 to one of the temple worker to get into the chariot from the back stairs.
