Bengali Lecturer Job Notification by UPSC

Ministry of Human Resource Development and Department of Higher Education, Language Division invites applications for the post of Bengali Lecturer for Eastern Regional Language Centre Bhubaneswar under Central Institute of Indian Languages Mysore. Pay scale is Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 with 6,000 (Grade Pay) as per PB-3. It is a permanent (group ‘A’ gazette) and central govt. job. Place of posting will be at Eastern Regional Language Centre, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar; however candidate should prepare to serve anywhere in India.

Educational qualification:
Applicant must be a Master Degree in Linguistic or Bengali from a recognized University or Institute and proficiency in any Indian language and / or must have studied Bengali at least up to eighth standard in school level in case of M.A. in Linguistics

Experience: At least two years of teaching or research experience. 

No. of Posts: OBC (01), SC (01) = Total (02) two posts.

Age limit: As on date of application candidate should not be more than 40 years for SC and 38 years for OBC.

Probation: One year
