Piyush Goyal Office twitted, “Significant boost to make in India! Apple has started manufacturing iPhone 11, bringing a top of the line model for the first time in the country.”

Foxconn, which is a leading supplier for Apple has planned to invest up to $1 billion to expand its factory in India. The company hasn’t cut prices as it also sells iPhone 11 handsets made in China in India but industry executives said that could be an option later on. Local production saves Apple 22% import duty.
