No Lockdown in Bengaluru from tomorrow, people need to go back to work: Karnataka CM Yediyurappa

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday announced that there will be no lockdown in Bengaluru or any other part of the Karnataka State.

Addressing the people of the state via Facebook and YouTube channel, Yediyurappa said, “There'll be no lockdown from tomorrow. Lockdown is not the solution, now restrictions will be placed only in containment zones,”

The CM further blamed an arrival of people from Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu for a spike in corona-virus cases in the state. The CM also talked about a 5T strategy (Trace, Track, Test, Treat and Technology) to bring down the corona-virus situation under control.
