Vellore: As per the report Nalini Shriharan, one of the seven convicts of Rajiv Gandhi Assassination case tried to kill herself inside the special prison at Vellore on 20th July, 2020, Monday night, said her lawyer P. Pugalenthi.
Nalini has been in jail for since 28 years and never did such things. However there was some spat between other women prisoner, whom Nalini usually harassing and behaves as her helper. The complain given to the jailer for shifting other blocks and during routine inquiry she attempted to kill herself. The prison staff protected her at that time.
