Two years jail term, Rs 1 lakh penalty for breaking lockdown norms in Jharkhand: CM Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Due to Covid 19 pandemic, the Jharkhand state cabinet under Chief Minster Hemant Soren passed the circulation of Jharkhand Contagious Disease Ordinance 2020 for violating orders and instructions issued by the government to prevent the spread of Covid 19 can be jailed for 2years and charged penalty of Rs 1 lakh.

The Covid 19 infectious rate in Jharkhand crossed 7100 with 80 deaths. On Thursday, the single-day count of patients 420 with 3 deaths. Due to such rapid infection of Corona the CM okayed the ordinance.
